Last week I posted the World Cup finals match between Italy and Brazil back in 1970. This week’s video will be Italy getting a measure of revenge beating Brazil who many consider the best team to not win the World Cup.
This Brazilian was so far ahead of its time. Hard to top this Brazilian squad as the greatest team of all time.
With his impending move to Inter hopefully days away figured it was a good time to post a best of video clip of Ricardo Quaresma.
Germany went on to win Euro 1996 while England haven’t been back to the semi finals since.

Truthfully couldn’t think of anything better so decided to look back at the best goals in Euro history while in the middle of Euro 2008.
What else could it be. No clue what the guy is saying in the clip but he sure sounds happy.
That Euro 2000 team is still my favorite Portugal team. I’m not going to sit here and say if that was a hand ball on Abel Xavier or not. I will say that if the reserve happen there would be no way that the referee would make the same hand ball call literally seconds away from Penalties against France. For close to 120 minutes they stood toe to toe with the best team in the World. I’ll even overlook Vitor Baia who shouldn’t of spilled that ball.
I was thinking about the 2006 Adidas World Cup Commercials. I spent just about the entire summer laughing at the fat kid in the commercial for picking Djibril Cissé first ahead of Zidane, Beckham, and Kaka. Even Gérard Houllier would think this kid is an idiot. To top it off the kid also picks Jermaine Dafoe ahead of Messi then puts him in goal.
