Spurs boss Harry Redknapp’s bid to bring Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra to Tottenham has hit a snag in a row over the ex-Chelsea man’s £20m price tag. Full story: the Sun
With Huddlestone and Sandro (when fit) around I’m not even sure Tottenham needs Diarra, they surely don’t need him at 20 million.

Dann is a boyhood Kop season ticket holder and has been holding tight for his “dream move”. Cahill is an LFC option as Bolton are keen on N’Gog. And Enrique should be tied up this week, if there’s an agreement on personal terms.
One of my scouse ‘contacts’ (I hate sounding like some uber-connected douche but that’s for lack of a term) even claims Dann and Cahill will be acquired but it’s one of the two, and Enrique for LFC.
