Sorry about that, to those still left I’ve missed you too.

Alberto Aquilani’s agent insists the Liverpool midfielder wants to remain in Italy following last season’s loan spell at Juventus. The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to AC Milan this summer, and is also a reported target of Napoli. Italian radio station CRR

With Jordan Henderon now in the fold wonder if that will cause teams to low ball Liverpool even more now?

Barcelona have offered 30m euros plus striker Bojan Krkic and midfielder Thiago Alcantara to Arsenal in exchange for skipper Cesc Fabregas. Marca.com (in Spanish)

If this did in fact happen, just take it Arsenal and move on. You get too players with upside and a boatload of cash. Move on from Fabregas.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has struck back in the battle for Britain’s best youngsters after missing out on Jordan Henderson and Phil Jones by landing Southampton’s £12m-rated winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who will be confirmed as a Gunners player on 1 July. Daily Mirror

I’m sure former Southhampton player Theo Walcott will helo Oxlade-Chamberlain seattle in with his new club.

Wenger is also believed to have made enquiries for Bolton and Blackburn defenders Gary Cahill and Chris Samba and Lille duo Gervinho and Eden Hazard. Daily Express

I’d sell the little whiner Nasri and use those forms to make a move for Hazard.

Arsenal left-back Gael Clichy, who has one year left on his contract, will be the subject of a £5m offer from Liverpool. Guardian

Talk about a knock down price. Even with a year left Clichy should be worth more than 5 million.

Manchester United are planning a £10m bid for Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri who will be a free agent in 12 months time. Daily Mirror

Arsenal is not Aston Villa they can sell Nasri but they can’t sell him to Manchester United, hell they can’t really sell him to any English club.

New Fulham manager Martin Jol wants to make unsettled Newcastle captain Kevin Nolan his first signing. the Sun

Any midfielder who can score double digits can play a role in most EPL teams.

Robbie Keane could also be on his way to Craven Cottage to team up with his former Tottenham manager Jol. the Sun

Jol will find out Keane isn’t the player he use to be back in 2006-2007.

Ashley Young is poised to complete his transfer to Manchester United before the weekend, when he gets married. Daily Mail

Young still isn’t in the same league as Nani however. Wonder if Manchester United are going to play Young out wide or in the middle.

Which means these talks will not go anywhere as Gyan is twice the player Crouch is.

Sounds about the right type of player Arsenal would go for.

Wigan chairman Dave Whelan says he expects manager Roberto Martinez to make a decision about whether he will join Aston Villa on Friday. talkSPORT

Good for Roberto Martinez on deciding to stay with Wigan. Wigan defence is awful but they did rise their game at the end of the season to stay up. Plus credit to Dave Whelan who backed his coach throughtout the season when it would of been easy to sack him.

Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby has risked the wrath of his own fans – by revealing he owns a Tottenham shirt given to him by friend and Spurs defender Younes Kaboul and wears it around the house.
Full story: the Sun

I like the fact he told this story. I wonder if Xavi walks around his house with a Real Madrid jersey.

It will cost Real Madrid or Barcelona a £100m transfer fee and £250,000-a-week in wages to prise striker Carlos Tevez, 27, away from Manchester City. Daily Mirror

Only the English press would link Carlos Tevez with a 100 million dollar move. The more Carlos Tevez whines the less it will cost to sign him.

Liverpool have agreed a deal, in principle, to sign Roma’s Brazilian goalkeeper Doni, 31.
Full story: Insidefutbol.com

A pretty good back up goalie to have.

Manchester United have told Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho no amount of money could persuade them to part company with 23-year-old striker Javier Hernandez. Daily Mail

That should be the end of that. I don’t see Jose Mourinho trying to bully a player off Manchester United.

Inter Milan are in pole position to sign Brazilian midfielder Kaka, 29, from Real Madrid, although Chelsea remain interested. talkSPORT

Would be a great reply to A.C Milan signing Zlatan Ibrahimović last season.

Full story: talkSPORT

I’ve heard this before.

Barcelona are trying to sign Cesc Fabregas, 24, in a cash-plus-player deal that is worth less than when they tried to buy the midfielder from Arsenal in the summer of 2010. Daily Mirror

Sadly I’ve also heard this before too.

Lille will not sell Gervinho for only 8 million.

Aston Villa winger Ashley Young, 25, will complete a £16m switch to Manchester United this month but the Midlands club will fight to hang on to Liverpool target Stewart Downing.
Full story: Daily Mirror

Aston Villa would be foolish to keep Young. Going into the last year of his deal he has all the power.

Sunderland midfielder Jordan Henderson, 20, is edging closer to a £20m move to Liverpool. The deal could be done before Henderson joins up with his England Under-21 colleagues on Wednesday.
Full story: the Guardian

Shurgs shoulders……I like the player don’t like the transfer fee.

Sunderland are willing to let Henderson go and aim to spend the money on Manchester United’s Danny Welbeck, Darron Gibson and Wes Brown. Daily Mirror

Provided all three would sign for Sunderland it’s not a bad trio to have.

The good news Helder Postiga scored (what a cross by Nani) the bad news Helder Postiga is our best striker.

Peter Crouch remains committed to playing for England despite starting just one match in 13 months. The Tottenham striker was reported to be ready to walk away from England, but sources close to the player say he will continue to make himself available.

If I was Cappello I’d kick Crouch off the team and make an example out of him. To many me first players on this England team. It’s not like Crouch was scoring goals in brunches for Tottenham this season. Let’s face it Tottenham best striker is Russian who scored a hat trick this weekend in European qualifying.

Wolves have agreed to sign Jamie O’Hara from Tottenham for £5m. The mdifelder, 24, spent the latter half of last season on loan at Molineux.
Full story: Goal.com

Wolves have confirmed “negotiations are ongoing” and have said that reports that the deal has already been done are “premature”.

Nice little fee for Tottenham to recoup. Always liked Jamie O’Hara. He may not be flashy but you know what you are going to get week in and week out.

Veteran German striker Miroslav Klose is set to quit Bayern Munich to join Spanish side Valencia. Klose, who is 33 on Thursday, has also been linked with a move to Everton. Bild (in German)

I’d rather live in Valencia than Liverpool besides Valencia can also offer Champions League football.

Full story: Daily Mail

Bojan is wanted just wanted on the bench.

Liverpool have made a new £18.5m bid for Sunderland’s 20-year-old midfielder Jordan Henderson – £5m more than last week’s opening offer. Daily Mirror

If Jordan Henderson wasn’t English his value would be half of that 18.5 million figure.

Liverpool are going to be thrilled to rid themselves of Joe Cole who never was a fit.

Full story: Metro

Despite still being able to score for Ireland it’s funny how no one wants to buy Robbie Keane.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been told he will need to find in excess of £20m to sign Tottenham playmaker Luka Modric. The Sun

That figure is cheap for Luka Modric. I’d be sending an offer over right away.

Ashley Young, 25, wants to quit Aston Villa for Champions League football, and Manchester United are favourites to sign the £20m-rated forward. The Sun

Whoever is going to be the next coach of Aston Villa is going to have to put out a lot of fires with players wanting to leave.

Villa, in the meantime, have been making discreet enquiries about Real Madrid’s out-of-favour mdifielder Fernando Gago, 25. Insidefutbol.com

Fernando Gago is a perfect example of a player you can buy low and sell high in the future. The talent is still there. Liverpool should forget about Jordan Henderson and make a call about Gago.

Full story: Daily Mirror

Fair price all things considered. Arsenal should at least consider it.

Fulham captain Danny Murphy, 34, has told the club’s hierarchy to appoint him as the new manager, but Martin Jol appears most likely to succeed Mark Hughes. Daily Mail

Martin O’Neill is a fool for leaving Aston Villa on the eve of last season. He’d be a bigger fool for taking over Fulham a club. Fulham would be a fool for wanting Martin Jol who would pull a Mark Hughes and leave the second something better comes along.

Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov says he wants to stay at the club, despite being left out of the squad for the Champions League final and reported interest from Newcastle, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. Daily Mirror

Wouldn’t be the first time AC Milan has gone after Adebayor.

It’s not that I dislike Jordan Henderson but this move doesn’t excite me.

Tottenham midfielder Wilson Palacios will discover in the next 48 hours if he can secure a £7m move to Italian side Napoli. Daily Mirror

Would be a nice little pick up got Napoli. I don’t think Wigan has many regrets selling Palacios for 12million a couple of years ago.

However, Spurs have put a £15m price tag on Honduran international Palacios, who joined the White Hart Lane club for £12m from Wigan. Daily Mail

That’s crazy talk. No way Palacios is worth that much.

Stay classy Sam Allardyce.

Aston Villa winger Ashley Young, who has been linked to Liverpool and Manchester United, will put back any talks about his future until next week because he is focused on England’s Euro 2012 qualifier against Switzerland, which is on Saturday. Metro

A matchup between the current Sinnacle European Champions against the former Sinnacle European Champions Switzerland.

Kinda fitting that Arsenal players would be in a New York Mets jersey.

Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric is at the heart of Ferguson’s planned £50m summer overhaul at Old Trafford. Daily Mirror

Like Denilson yesterday if a bid comes in for Bendtner they should pack his bags.
