There Is Only One Sinnacle

I’ve quite enjoyed the return of big bad Chelsea by signing Fernando Torres for 50 million and David Luiz for 25 million and the rights to Nemanja Matić.

Fernando Torres may not light up a room as he always seems like the type who can use a hug but he just about a sure thing you can get in English football provided he can stay injury free. He has already proven he can score 20-30 goals a season plus he had a long track record of just killing Chelsea so it just makes sense for them to take advantage of Liverpool knocking themselves out of the top four.

At 26 years old Torres has a good five years left and a much needed boost for a Chelsea team that was getting alittle long in the tooth. I’m not interested to see how Carlo Ancelotti handles Torres, Drogba and Anelka but have a feeling it will be Drogba who goes in the summer. Anelka is fine in the Robin role upfront, I can’t see Drogba taking a back seat to let Torres become the man.

Marouane Fellaini aside Davud Luiz brings the best hair to England and more importantly one of the best young defenders on the planet. He is big, quick, good on and off the ball, he just needs to harden a bit but this is another great signing for Chelsea who have wisely given Benfica 45 million over the last six months for Ramires and Luiz.
