Barcelona 4-0 Sevilla: Messi Makes His Century As Barca Breeze To Victory
Despite more heroics from los Rojiblancos’ keeper, the Blaugrana came out on top at the Camp Nou with a fine performance…
Barcelona eased to a 4-0 victory at the Camp Nou against Sevilla in a dominant performance. A Julien Escude own goal opened the scoring before Pedro doubled the lead, but some excellent goalkeeping from Andres Palop prevented the score from becoming embarrassing. Lionel Messi completed the scoring with two goals in the final 10 minutes.
After a scoreless first half Barcelona got the breakthrough they needed thanks to a Julien Escude own goal and from there it was off to the races for Barcelona who simply outclassed a good Sevilla team 4-0. Good teams have long memories but with Sevilla knocking out Barcelona in the Copa del Rey only a couple of nights ago they didn’t have to wait long to get their revenge.
What makes this win even sweeter is after a period of time where they were neck and neck with Real Madrid, Barcelona has now opened up a five point lead thanks to this win and Real Madrid’s defeat.
