Juventus Midfielder Felipe Melo Wins 2009 Golden Bin
The Brazilian has narrowly edged out last year’s winner Ricardo Quaresma to claim the not-so-coveted ‘Bidone d’Oro’.
A couple of weeks ago mentioned the finalist for the Golden Bin award, well now the results are in with Felipe Melo taking home the “honour.” Mentioned at the time Klaas Jan Huntelaar being a lock for the award but since then he has chipped in a few goals and A.C Milan last weekend not withstanding has been winning. Felipe Melo like a late charging Thoroughbred overtakes to the field to win it at the wire.
