Tottenham look set to agree the £7m signing of Internacional’s Brazilian midfielder Sandro on Sunday.
Full story: Daily Mirror

This would be an interesting signing as Tottenham don’t exactly have a rich history of plucking players from Brazil.

Manchester United are considering a January transfer move for Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko.

But Arsenal are also interested in the £15m-rated Bosnia striker as they look to replace injured forward Robin Van Persie. The Sun

So much for the Michael Owen signing working out for Manchester United. It’s not set in stone Manchester United will bring another striker but if they do it sends a pretty signal too Michael Owen.

United will sell Serbian winger Zoran Tosic and pass up on their option to sign his former team-mate Partizan Belgrade midfielder Adem Ljajic in order to free up funds to sign Dzeko. Daily Mirror

Or, United’s decision to pull out of the £10m deal for Serbian ’superkid’ Ljajic is because there are suggestions the Old Trafford club are suffering from a financial crisis. Daily Star

Not an United bean counter so no clue as to their financial health but poor Adem Ljajic. This move must be really disappointing for the kid. It’s kinda like going out with Megan Fox and having her break up with you right before you plan on taking her home.

Meanwhile, United keeper Ben Foster will be sent out on loan in January in a bid to secure his place in England’s World Cup squad. Daily Mirror

Or Foster will be sent on loan since he didn’t set the world on fire at the start of the season.

United will also listen to offers of around £10m for Portugal winger Nani who has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford. The Sun

The price is right as there is a buy low and end up selling high potential with Nani.
