Portugal dominated against Bosnia-Herzegovina in Lisbon, but ended up just taking a one goal lead in their World Cup play-off first leg encounter.
I’m emotionally exhausted and it’s not even Wednesday yet. The good news is Portugal kept a clean sheet and they are not the type of team to park the bus away from home. Of course I would of loved to see Portugal win by three but it’s not awful Portugal is going into the second leg only up 1-0. Already people are not impressed by Portugal which in a way is a good thing. It keeps them focused going into the second leg. Usually Portugal underachieves when they think it’s job done. With everything still to play for hopefully Portugal can score an early away goal and close it out.
Just wanted to say thank you to Bruno Alves. If it wasn’t for him Portugal wouldn’t even be here. It was his last minute winner against Albania which got the ball rolling finally for Portugal in World Cup Qualifying.
