Claudio Ranieri is officially the new coach of Roma. The former Juventus boss has stepped into the role after Luciano Spalletti resigned earlier on Tuesday, a move that many expected as Ranieri was reportedly spotted in a meeting with president Rosella Sensi.
Roma sure didn’t wait long to announce a replacement for out going head coach Luciano Spalletti. Good appointment for Roma as Ranieri should get them back on track after a rough start to the season. While Ranieri may not be the man to get you to the mountain top he has a history of mixing it up at the top of the table. Results like Juventus walking into the Stadio Olimpico and winning 3-1 should stop with the former Chelsea/Valencia/Juventus coach now on board.
