The Brazilian superstar has declared that he was never going to leave the club, despite reports suggesting he was close to an exit.
I am glad order has been restored in the football world with Kaka deciding to stay at A.C Milan. For a Manchester City fan I couldn’t image a bigger let down than excepting Kaka for an entire week and instead confirming the signing of Craig Bellamy.

I was so glad to see this on several levels:
1) Player’s (apparent) loyalty to a club that recognizes his worth and treats him well
2) Just because you have bags of money doesn’t mean you can get what you want
3) Although a huge offer, the fact that it wasn’t taken does not fully open the door fully to ridiculous sums being paid to buy players
4) It’d really suck to have an all-star team – a lot of the joy of watching the Beautiful Game is to see great players play together, yes, but also to see great players play against each other.
