Thiago Silva is an exception to the rule as he previously made his way into Europe playing for Porto and then Dynamo Moscow never making the grade at either place. Usually when that happens European clubs don’t give you a second look when the player returns to South America.

Of course a team mate is going to say that about Messi, I’d be more surprised if a Barcelona player said Ronaldo is better and vice versa if it came to a United played with Messi.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus directors have rejected a bid from the Ligue 1 side to capture the Portuguese midfielder.
Sometimes people over complicate football. Put players in positions where they can be successful and they can flourish. Juventus is finally figuring that out with Tiago. Let the player mop up in the midfield and let the other midfielders creating attacking chances. If Juvetenus would of played Tiago in his natural position to begin with they wouldn’t have had to gone out and bought Christian Poulsen and Mohamed Sissoko over the last year.
Just as an aside the story of Tiago locking Juve’s president in the washroom is still one of the funniest story of the year.
