No, I don’t actually think someone does but I do pat myself on the back for mentioning that Tottenham should consider Vagner Love as an option when remaking this team.

Barcelona are eyeing up a £12m swoop for Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso – if they lose Toure. (The Sun)

Few would resist Barcelona but Alonso is already on a team where he doesn’t receive the playing time some feel like he should. At the very least Alonso isn’t an automatic in the starting 11. That situation would only get worst at Barcelona.

Perfect example right there

Chelsea want to take Inter Milan youngster Mario Balotelli from their former manager Jose Mourinho. (Daily Mirror)

Wish them the best of luck with that. Both Inter and Mourinho would loath losing Balotelli to begin with. Never mind the message it would send selling their best young player to an English club.

West Ham utility man Valon Behrami is being targeted by Roma. (Daily Star)

When word leaks out that money may be an issue other teams will try to swoop in on a player at a discounted price.

West Ham are close to announcing the signing of a new £3.5m sponsorship deal. (Daily Mirror)

Hope this company doesn’t go broke.

Uefa are set to make a U-turn to give Atletico Madrid the go-ahead to stage their Champions League tie with Liverpool at home next week. (Various)
