EPL Week In Review : October 6th

- Liverpool fans must be a happy bunch right now with yesterday’s come from behind win against Manchester City. They may leave it late but Liverpool is playing with a ton of confidence and even down 2-0 on the road they didn’t panic or lose focus.
- Manchester City should learn a lesson from this. It’s one thing to talk about being a big club and it’s another to go out and play like one. Pablo Zabaleta foul was just silly, you may debate if it was a red card or not but one can’t debate that it was a stupid foul in the middle of the pitch. Liverpool could feel the tide turning once Manchester City were down to 10 men.
- With the way Martin Skrtel went off injured Daniel Agger should be getting the playing time he has been looking for.
- That’s it I’m calling it now Juande Ramos needs to go. Tottenham is a collection of 11 players on the pitch who have no clue how to play together. Sadly it is a lot easier to fire the coach instead of blowing up this team. Both Ramos and Director of Football Damien Comolli need to go. Take away Tottenham beating of Arsenal in the Carling Cup semi finals then the victory against Chelsea in the finals and you’ll find a team that has been nothing but average under Ramos.
- Hull City must be having a laugh in the EPL. They walk into Arsenal and Tottenham and come away with a full six points.
- It was almost scaring how this Chelsea disposed of a very good Aston Villa team. Chelsea first half performance left no doubt who was going to take the three points.
- I’m not going to be hard on Arsenal drawing against Sunderland. If the Hull result didn’t happen last week most fans would accept that Sunderland at home could take a point against Arsenal.
- United fans must be happy winning comfortably against Blackburn in a typical rainy Blackburn afternoon. I’m sure United fans will hope that Rooney’s scoring touch remains after the international break.

Something needs to happen at Spurs, and fast.
Chelsea is just scary period. They’re going to be tough(er) this year.
Love seeing ‘Pool playing with confidence and hope to see Keano start scoring like he did at Spurs.
