Official – Arsenal Sign Mikael Silvestre
Arsenal have completed the extraordinary signing of Mikael Silvestre from title rivals Manchester United. The 31-year-old French international signs up at the Emirates on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee…
This transfer happened for one reason and one reason only. Sir Alex Ferguson must have a lot of respect for not only Mikael Silvestre the player but also Mikael Silvestre the person to allow him to play for a rival in order to play more football.
Bayern Munich’s Toni wants Serie A return
Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni admits he wants to close his career in Serie A.
“I have scored 99 Serie A goals and I’d like to get to 100,” the 31-year-old told Zeit. “But there’s lots of time because I have another five or six years to play.”
Sometimes I enjoy reading these stories that are not really a story. Of course it’s natural that Toni would like to return home at some point. Would love to see a Bayern-Fiorentina match up in the Champions League on a personal note.
Friendlies: Alonso hits two, Belarus hold Argentina

Inter Join The Race For Di Maria

Still a year away for being ready for such a big move. Another year at Benfica would do Di Maria some good. Inter would consider Di Maria a cheaper and long term possibly better option than Ricardo Quaresma
