Capello sticks with Terry as England skipper
Fabio Capello has retained John Terry as England captain for the international friendly with the Czech Republic on Wednesday.
It’s not that I’m against John Terry being the England captain but I am against the way in which it was decided. If Capello was unsure who he wanted as England captain he should of just given it back to David Beckham in a temporary role. I’m sure Rio Ferdinand will say and do all the right things but he must be disappointed being passed over. Now you have to count Ferdinand and Terry to put all that aside and form the foundation of England World Cup hopes.
