Portsmouth sign Tottenham centre-back Kaboul
Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp has made French defender Younes Kaboul his newest recruit after agreeing a £6million deal with Tottenham Hotspur.
This transfer has been brewing for several months now. At this point everything has been said that needed to be said. Worth the gamble for Portsmouth signing 22 year old Kaboul who has all the talent of a fine EPL Defender. Either that or the French Titus Bramble.
Villa agree £7.8m fee for Rangers star Cuellar
Aston Villa have agreed a fee with Rangers for Spanish defender Carlos Cuellar.
The 26-year-old will now discuss terms with Villa, whose bid has invoked a release clause in Cuellar’s contract.
Cuellar wants to crack the Spanish National team. Something that was not going to happen with Rangers out of European competition. Not sure if he’ll get his wish playing for Villa but he’ll at least get a bump in pay. Was going to tip Rangers to win the SPL but with the loss of Cuellar I’d be foolish going against Celtic being the champions of Scotland again.
