Roma have edged closer to signing Chelsea winger Florent Malouda, according to the Corriere dello Sport.
If Roma can manage to sign Malouda and Real Madrid’s Julio Baptista, Serie A will be an interesting league to watch with Roma, Juventus, Inter Milan, A.C Milan to go along with Fiorentina and Napoli all interesting teams to watch.
Essien inks new five-year Chelsea contract
Michael Essien has signed a new five-year contract at Chelsea.
Great player, total team player and well deserving of that contract. When needed Essien has been willingly to play centre back and right back for the good of the team.
Madrid Have Asked About Kaká - Galliani
Real Madrid have reignited their interest in signing Kaká and have asked AC Milan about his availability which could indicate that the quest for Cristiano Ronaldo is stumbling.
Galliani is a piece of work. It’s like he is trying to unsettled Kaka. A cynic would say he is trying to drum up interesting to drive his price even higher.

Freddy Adu has completed his switch to Monaco on a season-long move.
The Olympics were going to seal Adu’s seat on the bench with Benfica this season so this move should be for the best. All for playing for one’s country just bad timing when it comes to Adu. Benfica however would be foolishly giving up on Adu without giving him a fair look.
