Liverpool To Enter Eto’o Frame
Samuel Eto’o could make a surprise move to Liverpool if the Premier League club fail in their bid to prise Robbie Keane away from Tottenham Hotspur.
I wouldn’t bet on this happening but Rafa BenÃtez needs to do something in order to please the Liverpool faithful who must be getting restless with the lack of big name transfer activity. An Eto’o/Torres striker partnership would be fun to watch.
Barcelona Dismiss Robinho Reports
Barcelona have dismissed reports linking them with a move for Robinho and the unwritten agreement not to sign each others players that exists between the clubs has also resurfaced.
A transfer between Barcelona and Real Madrid at the end of day would just be too much work for both teams. Barcelona would have to defend the purchase and Real Madrid would have to defend the sale. Each team would receive backlash from fans and journalist alike. Just not worth it when you want to start the season on a positive note.
Keane: Loyalty a two-way street in football
Roy Keane has warned his Premier League counterparts that loyalty works both ways amid the rumbling row over Real Madrid’s pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Don’t agree with everything Keane says but everything said in this article is spot on. I could not of said it any better myself.
