Atlético Move For Silva And Van Der Vaart
Atlético de Madrid have made bids for David Silva and Rafael Van der Vaart and are waiting for a response after promising to make at least one surprise signing this summer.
Can’t see Atletico being able to sign both of these players. Van der Vaart I would guess is the more likely of the two since rumoured interest by Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid have been just that rumours.
Valencia to smash wage ceiling to keep Villa
Valencia are ready to smash their wage ceiling to secure striker David Villa to a new contract.
Makes sense for Valencia to open up the purse strings. Villa after his Euro 2008 campaign could of easily forced a move away from Valencia if he wanted to. Thus far Villa has remained committed to Valencia which should be rewarded.
Reports: Drogba Agrees To Join Inter
According to confidential sources in Italy, Didier Drogba has agreed to move to San Siro to join Inter Milan.
These articles make it sound so easy. It’s still going to be like pulling teeth in order for Chelsea to sell Drogba.
