Ronaldinho Still Dreaming Of Milan – Kaká
Ronaldinho is still dreaming of a move to AC Milan despite this summer’s protracted transfer saga, according to his Selecao team-mate Kaká.
I’m just dreaming for this to end one way or another. If Chelsea make a serious push for Ronaldinho my gut feeling is that Ronaldinho will be applying his trade in West London next season.
Real Madrid’s Balboa wants Benfica move
Real Madrid midfielder Javier Balboa admits he is keen on a move to Benfica.
I’d like to see this move myself. Balboa will never see the light of day and crack the starting lineup for Real Madrid. At Benfica he can do his stock a lot of good with 1-2 productive seasons.
Mendes Admits Sporting Temptation
Portsmouth’s Portuguese midfielder Pedro Mendes says he is well aware of Sporting Lisbon’s interest, while seemingly suggesting that he wouldn’t say no to a move.
Sinnacle has always been a big fan of Mendes. It would be good seeing him play in Portugal and the Champions League again after spending most of last year on the bench at Portsmouth.
Toni satisfied with form after Italy Euros exit
Italy striker Luca Toni insists he was happy with his personal performance after last night’s Euro2008 quarterfinal penalty shootout defeat to Spain.
Toni would be the only one happy with his performance. The service given to him wasn’t good but at no point over Euro 2008 did Toni look like a threat to break the game open.
Ince Confirmed As Blackburn Boss
Blackburn Rovers have confirmed Paul Ince as their new manager.
Good to see Ince get the job. Worked in the lower leagues and hopefully for Rovers fan he is ready to make the big step up. With Bentley soon out the door, Ince will have a tough time convincing Santa Cruz to stay on. That being the case Ince better have a clear plan on how he is going to replace those two players.
