Barcelona president Joan Laporta has sanctioned a £24m move for Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor in a bid to beat off competition from AC Milan. (Daily Mail)
No clue about the likelihood of this but if I were Arsenal I’d be on the lookout for a replacement with the 24 million that Adebayor would be sold for.
Everton are targeting Blackburn winger David Bentley as a replacement for Mikel Arteta if he leaves for Atletico Madrid. (Daily Mail)
Like for like replacement as they say across the pond. Don’t see Arteta going to Atletico despite having an interest last year. Atletico have a ton of midfielders as it is.
Roma are ready to take Luis Saha on loan with a few to signing the Manchester United striker on a permanent deal. (Daily Mail)
Always had this feeling that the second Saha leaves United he’ll be fit for an entire season and pop in 20 goals with his new team.

Former Chelsea assistant manager Henk Ten Cate could make a Premier League return as manager of Blackburn, despite agreeing to take over at Greek side Panathinaikos. (The Guardian)
If Blackburn really wanted him as a manager they’d step in before Ten Cate got the Panathinaikos job. Aside from his days as the Barcelona number 2, Ten Cate leaves alot to be desired.
