EPL Gossip for Wednesday June 11th

Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb has revealed he is “angered” by reports linking him with a move to Bayern Munich. (Press Association 1000 BST)
If anyone has any right to be angered here it’s Arsenal. Don’t see how being linked to one of the world’s best clubs can anger someone.
But Portugal manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has hinted that he may be ready to ‘live and work in another country’, increasing speculation he could be about to join Chelsea. (Daily Mail).
Six years in charge of one country is considered a lifetime in International football. Would be a sad day personally when/if he leaves. Most Portuguese fans won’t realize how good they’ve had it until he is gone.
Liverpool will clinch the £15m signing of Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry in the next 48 hours. (Various)
Was only a matter of time sadly. The clock is running out for Barry to play Champions League football. Would enjoy it if Villa can somehow top Liverpool in the standings next year.
Ricardo Carvalho has told Chelsea he wants to leave the club to join former Blues manager Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan. (Various)
I’ll wish Carvalho luck getting Chelsea to sell him to Mourinho and Inter. Chelsea will be loath to see any of their players link up again with Mourinho.
Meanwhile, Pascal Chimbonda has been told he can leave Tottenham for £2m with Aston Villa, Fulham and Rangers all interested. (Daily Mail)
At that price more teams should be interested. 18 months ago Chimbonda was considered one of the best right backs in England and was attracting interest from Chelsea.
Alan Shearer is said to be unsure on whether to start his managerial career at Blackburn Rovers who are said to be keen on the former England striker. (Daily Telegraph)
Sam Allardyce is back in the running to replace Mark Hughes as manager of Blackburn. (The Sun)
One of these people would look good on the headlines. One of these people would make their team look good in the standings.
