Abramovich has been in Switzerland watching Euro 2008 and is likely to turn to whichever coach excels at the tournament. (The Independent)
How Abramovich gets his yacht into Switzerland is beyond me.
AC Milan are closing in on a £18m swoop for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba but have been told his Blues team-mate Andriy Shevchenko is not for sale. (Various)

Blackburn will play in the Championship within two years if they bring Shearer in.
Henk Ten Cate, Sam Allardyce and Paul Ince are also in the frame. (Daily Mirror)
Two out of the three would be good for Blackburn. Ten Cate would be another disaster.
Roberto Mancini, Steve McClaren, Dick Advocaat and Avram Grant are the other candidates for the Ewood Park post. (The Times)
Roberto Mancini wouldn’t even return Blackburn’s call if they asked to speak to him about the job.
