Coupet is a fine goalie but he is also 35 years old. If Tottenham can’t find there long term solution in goal then Coupet is a good 1-2 year stop gap.

There is no battle. Unless Bolton offers a boat load more money than Villa for Robinson, the soon to be former Tottenham goalie will decide to play for Aston Villa.

Chelsea could sign Barcelona’s talented Mexican teenager Giovani Dos Santos in a swap deal for £14m-rated Florent Malouda. (Daily Telegraph)

Dos Santos will get eaten alive by the British press. He’ll be better suited saying at Barcelona for another year or two. Yes Barcelona are a big team but it’s also Messi’s team. The expectations are a lot less as suppose to if he moves on to Chelsea a big money transfer.

Jo will be a success in England. Big and strong and knows how the find the back of the net. City will do well to sign him.

Makes sense. Selling both would command roughly the 12 million that is making the rounds as the fee needed to sign Andrei Arshavin.

Drogba will only start to realize how good he has it at Chelsea when or if he decides to move on.

Milan Baros was on loan anyway. He also didn’t score a goal for Portsmouth in his half season there. Pretty much assuring that Portsmouth won’t make the loan move permanent.

    Just heard fulham are to release Carlos Bocanegra which is quite suprising. Whats the reasoning behind this do you think and where do you think he’ll go?

    Didnt feature all that much under Roy Hodgson the last half of the season. That pretty sums it up. For some reason Bocanegra wasn’t Hodgson’s type of player. Naturally MLS rumors will come into play but Bocanegra is still good enough to feature for another European team.

    yeah i could see returning to the mls as appealing because its on the up at them moment but if he wants to stay in england im sure somebody like wigan or bolton would snap him up or maybe one of the newly promoted teams god knows who ever goes up between hull and bristol is going to need help
