Champions League Final Preview

Sometimes its just good to be a fan. Take a step back and enjoy the game. This season will end as it started with Manchester United and Chelsea going toe to toe. United are looking to mark the 50th anniversary Munich Air Disaster with a victory in the Champions League.

Chelsea will be looking for their first European crowd as Avram Grant will look to do what Jose Mourinho failed to do and that is lead Chelsea to Champions League glory.

The British press with a clear hate on anything Russian have been questioning the state of the playing surface at Luzhniki Stadium. If the field isn’t up to par that should favour Chelsea who are the more defensive of the two sides and wouldn’t mind slowly down the game a tad. As they say however both teams have to play on the same pitch.

Thanks to a Claude Makélélé challenge it appears Ashley Cole will not be 100% coming into this game. There a few players who can match up 1v1 with Cristiano Ronaldo with Ashley Cole having been able to contend Ronaldo in many of there previous meetings.

This is just too close to call for me so I’m not going to make a prediction. If you come across this post please feel free in the comments section to make a prediction. You can just give a score or if you wish state your opinion on how the game will turn out.

    You’re not going to make a prediction? Come on…. I’m going to have to pick Chelsea. Drogba with 2, Manchester United 1… no, not that Ronaldo kid. He’ll be scoreless.

    Bold predictions are more fun than sitting on the fence. You might get splinters if you sit there too long.

    Im gonna make a bold prediction as well and say united win 2-0 with both goals in the last half an hour. Goalscorers being rooney and vidic lol don’t ask me where these predictions are coming from its such a hard game to judge.

    Just to be on the other side I’ll say Chelsea 1-0. Hopefully in a better game than last years FA Cup final.

    Oops! Wrong match.

    I’m gonna wimp out & not leave a prediction, but will have to wait until LATER TONIGHT to watch the game! Need to steer clear of any football websites today in the meantime…. don’t want to spoil the fun. Here’s to a last blast of BPL footy till next year.

    well based on last previous games from manchester its clearly hell, its not prediction but reality they gonna beat chelsea 2-1 Ronnie and Ronaldo while in other part it will be droga for sure
