EPL Gossip for Thursday May 8th

Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra is lining up a British record offer of £32m for Dimitar Berbatov. (Daily Mail)
If Berbatov whines about Tottenham not being in the Champions League there is little chance he’ll be happy at Manchester City who are not even going to play in Europe next year.
But Berbatov is more likely to end up with Manchester United, who are prepared to pay twice the £10.9m they could have signed him for two years ago. (Daily Mail)
Manchester United usually field a 4-5-1. Since Rooney and Tevez will fight for playing time up front Berbatov will start of whine about lack of playing time after 6 months.
Manchester United also retain an interest in Lyon’s Karim Benezma. (Daily Express)
Benezma has already expressed his desire to play for Lyon another season and did say if he was to move he’d prefer to play in Spain.
Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor has told Barcelona to forget about signing him because he wants to make history with Arsenal. (The Sun)
Most players would rather make money. Besides the recent history for Arsenal hasn’t been too impressive.
Ajax are looking at Middlesbrough’s Robert Huth, while Boro will release Fabio Rochemback next week. (The Sun)
If Huth can keep himself healthy he is a very effective centre back. Rochemback and Middlesbrough where always a bad fit from the start.

That is why I love Adebayor, he is loyal to Arsenal. Man U tried to get him last year or the year before and he turned Fergie down. Plus he is the man on Arsenal why would he want to become just another player. Togo baby
