Rijkaard Off In Two Weeks
A colleague of Frank Rijkaard, Jil van Eyle, has revealed on a personal web page that the Dutch manager is expecting to leave FC Barcelona over the coming weeks…
I’ll wait until this story breaks on more then a personal web site before believing it. Rijkaard has been at Barcelona for five years and that is around the time that most players simply tune out their coaches. One of two things need to happen. Either a massive clear out of players happens or the coach goes.
Messi insists he’s happy sticking with Barcelona
Lionel Messi insists he hasn’t thought about leaving Barcelona after a second season without a trophy.
Why is Messi even being asked this? How many other teams can offer Messi what Barcelona can? Even the best players go without titles for a couple of years. Good to see Messi wanting to be part of the solution instead of increasing the problems at Barcelona.
Milan Want Borriello Back – Agent
Agent Tiberio Cavalleri stated that Milan want Marco Borriello back this summer as they search for a striker who can guarantee them 20 goals per season.
Why anyone speaks to an agent about a players future is beyond me. When you lead the league in goals for most of the year bigger teams are bound to have a closer look.
Barcelona eyeing Porto midfield star Gonzalez
Barcelona are interested in Porto attacking midfielder Lucho Gonzalez.
Barcelona is stacked with midfielders but if Barcelona want a no nonsense midfielder who always seems to make the right pass, few are better then Lucho.
