Sinnacle Soccer Saturday
All eyes will be on Ewood park as Manchester United look to hold off Chelsea by beating a Blackburn side that still have dreams of Europe.
Other games in the EPL today
- In the early game Arsenal will look to give Reading fans another nervous week with a win that might pull Reading closer to the bottom three. Reading already owns a victory against the top four this season beating Liverpool. They will have to at least get a point to breath easy for another week.
- Fulham take on a Liverpool side that Bolton boss Gary Megson hopes will field a completive team. With Liverpool looking ahead to the Champions League midweek Fulham can grab at least a point from this contest.
- Bolton still have to take care of their own business and put the pressure on Birmingham tomorrow by traveling to Middlesbrough. Boro plays well against the big games but have dropped points far to often against teams at the bottom half of the table.
- Wigan still on a high from their last second goal against Chelsea play host to a Tottenham that look like the off season can’t come soon enough for then.
- West Ham vs Derby in a game I don’t care one bit about.
Over in Italy, Inter is off until tomorrow in the mean time they get to see if Roma can close to gap to one point as they face a Livorno side who are in last place but only two points from safety. The other game to look for is if 4th place Fiorentina can extend the lead to seven points on A.C Milan as they face Palermo.
Looking at Spain today’s focus would have to be the Barcelona derby between Barcelona and Espanyol. The first game ended up 1-1 and look for the second game to follow in the same fashion with Barcelona looking ahead to Manchester United mid week.
