Champions League Preview
Manchester United will have the battle through some injury issues with there back line vs Roma and Barcelona will look to save whatever is left of their season by advancing against Schalke.
Manchester United vs Roma
The main sub plot in this game will be whether or not Rio Ferdinand will take place in this game. I suspect Ferdinand will play but how effective will he be in the question. United will need to look towards scoring an early goal and killing this game off. If Roma are able to strike first it could make for some nervous moments at the theater of dreams.
Barcelona vs Schalke
Talk about missing some star power as Ronaldinho, Deco and Lionel Messi are all out with injuries. Schalke were unlucky in the first leg not being able to score a goal in what many consider an even contest. Despite Barcelona poor form as of late being down 1-0 will make this content an uphill battle for the German side. The Spanish giants must see the Champions League as the only realistic change of winning silverware this season after not gaining any ground on Real Madrid over the weekend.
