Champions League Preview

Today is the best we find out if Rafa Benitez has the midas touch when it comes to the Champions League and if Chelsea come over come their stumble in Turkey to win with style at home.
Liverpool vs Arsenal
A 1-1 result is a tricky scoreline for the home team in the second leg. They are in the lead so its natural to not go for the kill but in doing so exposes your team. Few squads can take advantage of a team sitting back and defending like Arsenal can.
The question that should be asked here is can the Liverpool back four hold of an Arsenal attack for 90 minutes. Personally I think the answer is no and if that is the case look for this contest to go either way. It isn’t like Arsenal hasn’t had success at Anfield. Earlier on this year the two teams tied 1-1 and last year Arsenal took out Liverpool in both the League and FA Cup.
Chelsea vs Fenerbahce
In the words of Kevin Keegan (video below) I would love it, just love it if Fenerbahce can pull off the upset. That being said Stanford Bridge is a tough place to get a result. So personally I hope for a 1-1 score because I believe Fenerbahce coach Zico will be smart enough not to play 10 men behind the ball. A 2-0 Chelsea victory would not shock me.
