Sinnacle Soccer Sunday

Early morning action sees Chelsea trying to keep up with league leaders Manchester United taking on Middlesbrough. Boro have played the big four teams tough this year with a win against Liverpool and Arsenal. Chelsea better not look ahead to there mid week Champions League match or else all the positives from beating Arsenal will quickly disappear.

In the overlooked game of the day Kevin Keegan will try to build on last weeks win as they take on a Tottenham team whose players seem to be playing for roster spots next season.

The main event of the day however has to be the Merseyside derby between bitter rivals Everton and Liverpool. No Javier Mascherano, whose mouth got him suspended for this game and Everton will be without Tim Cahill who is done for the rest of the season with a foot injury. Few times has so much been at stake since Liverpool can all but wrap up 4th spot and a Champions league spot with a win but if Everton take the points it could go down to the wire.

Looking at the action in Spain the focus will be on Real Madrid vs Sevilla. In the first meeting Sevilla handled Madrid at home winning 2-0 but now Madrid can inch towards achieving back to back La Liga title with a win here.

In Serie A current Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri takes on former club Parma. These teams are going in opposite directions. Juventus after there big win last week vs Inter Milan have all but locked up a Champions League spot. Parma on the other hand will have to fight tooth and nail the rest of the way to stay in the league.

Speaking on the Champions League the 4th place battle rages on as A.C Milan take on Atalanta and current holders of the 4th spot Fiorentina travel to take on Udinese.
