EPL Gossip for Sunday March 30th

Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will make Frank Lampard his number one target if he takes over at Inter Milan. (Sunday Express)
Inter does lack an attacking center midfielder. Lampard will never get the money he is looking for from Chelsea. He will either bite his tongue and sign the extension Chelsea offer him or move on come the summer time. A new challenge would do Lampard some good.
Spurs will let Paul Robinson leave White Hart Lane for £2m in the summer, with Middlesbrough and Aston Villa believed to be interested in the England keeper. (The People)
That is pretty cheap for a goalie of Robinson class. He would improve both Middlesbrough and Villa. If it came down between the two there is a good chance brough would lose out.
The Magpies will be busy in the summer as they are also targeting Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon and former Arsenal wideman, Jose Antonio Reyes. (The People)
The Reyes rumor has already been touched upon. While not a big fan of Lennon’s form this year the talent is there and Newcastle should make a play if Tottenham are interested in selling.
Liverpool could move for Schalke’s Brazilian full-back Rafinha in the summer, while Reds boss Rafael Benitez has also been linked with two young players from South America. (Mail on Sunday)
While a fan of Rafinha, being a 5′7 right back will be an issue early on since he’ll have to adapt to the more physical English game.
Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes is ready to take on Everton in a £4.5m battle for Heerenveen’s America midfielder Michael Bradley. (The People)
17 goals playing midfield will make you a poplar player. Bradley’s game is perfectly suited for the EPL.
Scott Carson is preparing for a return to Anfield after Aston Villa told the goalkeeper’s representatives that they would not meet Liverpool’s £9m asking price. (News of the World)
I wouldn’t pay nine million either. Craig Gordan cost Sunderland nine million and he is a much better goalie then Carson.
Uefa president Michel Platini says he will stop Premier League clubs from buying 16-year-old footballers from abroad. “The first football contract a player signs should be for the club who train him,” said Platini. (Mail on Sunday)
Somewhere Arsene Wenger is swearing.
